We're connected.

MPhA is liaison to numerous state and national organizations and other health care professions. In addition, the association has a presence in the Division of Medicaid and is represented on the State Board of Pharmacy and Board of Health. Four member-pharmacists serve in the Mississippi Legislature.

Appointment to the Board of Pharmacy is made by the governor from a list of five applicants we submit for consideration. Each of the congressional districts is represented by a pharmacist serving staggered five-year terms. Most important, the board and the association are committed to a positive, viable relationship.

MPhA is liaison to the pharmaceutical industry. The association appreciates the support received such as journal advertisements, sponsored program speakers, convention support, continuing eduction materials and memberships of sales representatives.

The associtaion for pharmacists in Mississippi, MPhA represents all practice settings. Serving as ex officio members of the Board are:
