Jordan Marie Ballou, PharmD, BCACP received her Bachelor of Science in molecular and structural biochemistry from North Carolina State University in 2009 and earned her PharmD at the Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2015. She then was chief resident in the community pharmacy residency training program at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She joined the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy faculty as a clinical assistant professor in the department of pharmacy practice in 2016. Dr. Ballou is based on the Oxford campus and her practice site is Tyson Drug Company in Holly Springs. At this site, Ballou is involved in the administration of the School’s Community Pharmacy Residency Program, as well as CPESN Mississippi. She is an active member of the Mississippi Pharmacists Association, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, the American Pharmacists Association, Phi Lambda Sigma and Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. Dr. Ballou’s research interests include practice transformation and implementation of clinical services in the community pharmacy setting to increase access to care for patients in rural areas.
