ANNA TOUCHSTONE
PRESIDENT
Anna Jane Touchstone, PharmD, MHA received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2017, her PharmD in 2020 from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, and her Master of Health Administration from Belhaven University in 2024. She became a pharmacist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center after graduating from pharmacy school, where she is now the Central Pharmacy Supervisor for the adult hospital. She is currently a member of MPhA, APhA, MSHP, and Phi Lambda Sigma. She has been involved with MPhA for several years as both a student and pharmacist, serving as an active member of the Education, Convention, and New Practitioner committees. She served as the Education Committee Chair from 2021-2023. Through the New Practitioner Committee, Anna helped start the MPhA Mentor Program in 2020 by serving as program coordinator. She was awarded MPhA Student of the Year in 2019, MPhA Member of the Year in 2022, and Spirit of Pharmacy in 2023. She also received the Ole Miss Alumni Association 40 under 40 award in 2024.
ANN FRANKLIN
PRESIDENT ELECT
Ann Katelyn Franklin, PharmD, is a 2012 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. After graduation, she pursued a career as a community pharmacist at Walgreens in Cleveland, Mississippi, where she became Pharmacy Manager in 2014. In 2023, Ann began a clinical staff pharmacist position at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, where she is currently the Director of Pharmacy.
Ann has experience serving on the Mississippi Pharmacist Association membership committee, as a pharmacist mentor for the association, and as part of the inaugural convention planning committee, where she served as committee chair for two years. As a clinical associate professor for the University of Mississippi and William Carey Schools of Pharmacy, she enjoys precepting students. She was awarded Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year in 2016, Bowl of Hygeia in 2020, and MPhA Member of the Year in 2024.
Outside of her career as a pharmacist, she enjoys working as a Certified Lactation Counselor, helping new mothers after adding to their families. She is the past President of The Crosstie Arts Council and the Delta State University Parental Advisory Board, and past Vice President of the Presbyterian Day School Parent Teacher Foundation. She is an active life member of the Junior Auxiliary of Cleveland and enjoys serving on the various committees at Calvary Baptist Church. A busy mom of three, she enjoys cheering for the Ole Miss football team, camping, and traveling with her family.
CHERYL SUDDUTH
VICE PRESIDENT
Cheryl Sudduth graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in 1981. She has been an independent pharmacy owner for over 30 years, owning a pharmacy in Hernando, MS, and most recently a second location in Independence, MS. She is a clinical professor with the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, serving as a preceptor for IPPE and APPE students at the University of MS SOP. She currently serves as a luminary for CPESN MS and is a past board member of the Mississippi Independent Pharmacy Association, having served as chairman for two years. Cheryl serves on the Dean's advisory board for the University of Mississippi SOP. A past recipient of the MPHA Hall of Fame award and the Excellence in Innovation award, she is excited to serve as a current officer of MPhA.
Cheryl and her husband reside in Hernando, Mississippi, where she enjoys time with her family and friends. She has a passion for advancing the pharmacy profession and improving the health of Mississippians.
Meagan Brown
TREASURER
Dr. Meagan Brown is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Director of the newly formed IMPACT Center for Pharmacy Transformation within the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in Jackson, Mississippi. She earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the College of Pharmacy at Xavier University of Louisiana in 2010. Upon graduation, Dr. Brown completed a PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Practice Residency and joined faculty.
Her clinical practice site is a federally qualified health center, G.A. Carmichael Family Health Center, where she provides clinical services to patients focused on cardiometabolic diseases and assists providers with other patient needs related to medication access at 3 of their locations (Yazoo City, Belzoni, and Canton). Additionally, she brings residents and student pharmacists to expose them to hands-on experience in rural healthcare, serving the underserved. In the classroom, Dr. Brown’s coursework primarily focuses on chronic disease, health disparities, and health inequities.
In service, Dr. Brown serves on several committees with national pharmacy organizations and state organizations, including serving most recently as the convention planning chair of MPhA for the last 2 years. Her most recent honor includes being selected as the 2026 PGY-2 Preceptor of the Year and being named fellow of the National Pharmaceutical Association, recognizing pharmacists who’ve made sustained contributions and exceptional performance serving the medically underserved. Most importantly, she is a wife to Dr. Terrence H. Brown, also a pharmacist, mother of four, bookworm, vibe curator, and enjoys serving in the kids and health ministry at her church, Word of Life.
