The Pharmacy Technician Training Program is a 6 week program comprised of lessons that will cover information such as fundamentals of pharmacy practice, pharmacy laws and ethics, prescription processing, pharmaceutical calculations, and workplace safety to prepare for certification and employment in pharmacy settings.

The cost of the program is $4,269.00

The program takes place predominately online, with two in person meetings.

No pre-requisite courses are required to apply. Admission requirements are below

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the start of the program.

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required with proof of completion that must be submitted with the application and a signed enrollment agreement.

• Applicants must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and Social Security card (or other proof of eligibility to work in the United States).

• All applicants are subject to a criminal background check prior to enrollment. Certain convictions may disqualify students from participating in clinical experiences or obtaining certification/licensure.

• Applicants must provide proof of current immunizations (including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, and Tdap). A negative TB test (within the past 12 months) required.

• Applicants are required to attend admissions orientation upon acceptance to discuss expectations, course structure, and career goals.

• Applicants must be able to perform basic computer operations and handle medications safely.
